Two ways in.
Every signed-in user gets $5 of Claude on us — enough to feel out whether unsolo is for you. Once that’s gone, you have two free continuation paths. No tiers, no plan comparison table, no credit card.
Web app + your Anthropic key
Sign in, drop your Anthropic API key into your profile, and your turns route through your own account — Anthropic bills you directly, unmetered on our side. Works on any OS, any browser, mobile included.
- ·Mac, Windows, Linux, mobile — wherever you have a browser.
- ·You pay Anthropic for tokens. Probably cents per session.
- ·Full multimodal — drop in screenshots, PDFs, specs.
Desktop app + your Claude plan
Install the Mac app, sign into Claude Code once, and your turns run on your existing Claude Pro/Max subscription. No API key to manage, no per-token math, no extra Anthropic account. Whatever your plan covers, you can use here.
- ·Mac only for now. Windows/Linux later.
- ·Uses your Claude Pro/Max quota — nothing extra to pay.
- ·Text turns only on the desktop path. Image/PDF turns transparently fall back to the web (your $5 / your key).
! A few honest notes
Why is this free? Because pricing this would be guessing. We’d rather see what people actually use unsolo for, then figure out monetization in a way that doesn’t feel extractive. If we land somewhere with a paid tier later, it will be about features that need ongoing infrastructure (team plans, shared memory, admin) — not the act of routing your Claude turns.
Will my teammates need their own keys / app? Yep. Each person’s posts run on their own credentials. Their $5 / their key / their Claude plan — never yours. So if Priya brings a key and Alex doesn’t, Priya’s turns cost Priya nothing and Alex’s draw down his $5 starter.
What about the old standalone helper? Still works for advanced users who’d rather run npx unsolo-helper themselves. Once the desktop app is broadly out, the standalone path will quietly retire.
